Material cost = area × price per m² of the package (live from the shop). Estimated savings/year = your heating costs/year × the wall’s share of heat loss (30% for buildings from before 1978, 25% for 1979–1994, 20% from 1995 onwards — market research from 24 September 2026) × an assumed 20% improvement in U-value (the same conservative figure used in the full savings calculator under “How it works”). Payback = cost ÷ savings/year. None of these figures is a guarantee for your specific building.
